In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Sempi Srl was founded with a clear mission: to revolutionize business management with a simple, effective, and scalable method.

🔹 Chapter 1: THE BEGINNING

A method that didn't exist (but was desperately needed)


When in 2020 Liana Gabriela Rotariu, after 25 years as CFO in European companies, decided to launch Sempi, it was not by chance.

It was a time when entrepreneurs and professionals were in crisis more than ever, overwhelmed by complex business processes, chaotic strategic choices, and management systems that did not simplify but complicated everything..

Liana didn't want another software or another theoretical consultancy.

He wanted to create a method. A method that was practical, immediate, and replicable.

But an idea, no matter how revolutionary, needs a test.

And so, between 2020 and 2022, Sempi tested its method with 200 clients.

  • Business management time reduced by 30%.
  • An average ROI per customer of 15%.
  • 97% of customers reported feeling more "free" in managing their business.
Sempi was working. But Liana knew that a change of pace was needed.

🔹 Chapter 2: 

Say NO to build the true YES


After 200 customers, the choice seemed obvious: to expand as quickly as possible.

But expanding with anyone would have distorted the method.

Expanding without a scalable model would have created problems instead of solving them.

Così, Sempi ha fatto una delle scelte più difficili ma più strategiche:

❌ NO to clients who did not share the value of simplicity.

❌ NO to rapid growth without a solid structure.

❌ NO to remaining just a method: it was time to become a business model.

In 2022, Sempi becomes a Benefit Corporation, because business management is not just about numbers, it is also about impact.

And to prove that doing business differently is possible, for every new client, Sempi adopt an olive tree  or aBeehive, contributing to biodiversity and sustainability.

But it's not enough. Liana has always believed that business management is also creativity, intuition, vision.

The new path was laid out. The right team and the right moves were needed.

🔹 Chapter 3:

The turning point - Sempi Srl as an innovative start-up


In 2024, after an endless series of bureaucratic hurdles, Sempi reaches a new fundamental milestone: it becomes an innovative startup.

A clear signal:

  • We are no longer just a method.
  • We are no longer just a consultancy.
  • Sempi is now a business model ready to scale.

And it is precisely at the moment of transformation that Marco Riberti comes into play, who becomes a partner of Sempi in January 2024..

With his strategic vision and the ability to transform processes into solutions, Marco takes the method to the next level.

But there is another key piece: technology.

In May 2024, Sempi signs a strategic partnership with Odoo, integrating the method with one of the most advanced ERP systems in the world.

And Liana? She never stops learning.

To provide a higher level of consulting, it obtains the  international certification as a management consultant CMC/APCO, a recognition that places her among the best management consultants globally.

The foundations are now in place. It's time to scale.

🔹 Chapter 4:

Scalability in Italy: 200 clients by the end of 2025


The goal is clear:

📍 200 selected clients, not just any client.

📍 Sustainable growth, based on value and not just on numbers.

📍 A system that reduces business management time by 50%.

What does it mean for Sempi?

✔ Consolidate the model in Italy to make it exportable.

✔ Further optimize the method thanks to technology.

But Italy is not the final destination. It is just the beginning.

The European Expansion: Romania, Malta, and Switzerland

Liana is of Romanian descent and knows the accounting and business market perfectly.

Sempi already has clients in Romania and knows that there is a huge need for business simplification there.

📍 Malta 🇲🇹 – A family market.

Liana has worked with Maltese companies, has a network of former colleagues in the area, and is well aware of the administrative challenges faced by local businesses.

📍 Switzerland 🇨🇭 – A strategic choice.

Sempi already has clients in Switzerland.
